Breaking Grabs Empty Breaking Grabs

alright so its pretty apparent that everyone hates getting thrown because its "cheap" but seeing as how the netcode is so godly you can actually quit b*tching about losing to throws and learn how to break them. But how can i do this? some might say ... easy you play a fricken computer game until you can see the arms go out, recognize which type of throw it is, and hit the corresponding button.
here is where you can download the game

its an easy 1 step process Razz

Breaking Grabs Empty Re: Breaking Grabs

Been on WTF's forums lately? Well... I guess the Tekken and even the fighting game community in general complains about grabs a lot. I twitch duck and then either jab or rising punish (usually the former because I'm bad at rising punishes). It's one of my signatures... Fufufufu... (Evil laugh)

While I agree that the netcode is good, I feel like something may have negatively affected it with the last update. As it is now, no matter what filter I use I only get people with 3 bar connection. On 4+ breaking grabs is easy. Anything less than that and it's impossible to time with the input delay.

What's even more annoying than people who complain about "cheap grabs" is people who start "honor" threads with topics like "Any other players out there who refuse to use (insert basic and vital gameplay mechanic here)". I've seen "refuse to use": juggles, grabs, lows, and ground attacks threads. The notion of "fighting with honor" just doesn't make any sense in a video game. The reason we come up with rules like those in real life fights is so people won't get seriously injured, but in a video game the rules are set within the game and a world is created in and of itself. You're supposed to use all the tools given to you to try and win- the ultimate goal of any game. While games can have mechanics that are widely recognized as "cheap", unbalanced, or broken, it doesn't apply with Tekken's grabs. With the new netcode they're entirely avoidable. I could understand complaints about this issue in T6, but now they're completely unwarranted.

So there are players out there that "fight honorably"? So what, I punch you, you punch me, first man to fall wins? ...wtf?!?
